There nothing you can do in FlashPipe as I think it's intended for "quick" results.However there is plenty you can do in Qimage by making adjustments using a Filter (Batch Filter). There you can crop, and do all the usual image adjustments without affecting the original image. A separate filter file is saved alongside the image. To do a batch of images, load them into the queue, double click the first one on the preview and the batch filter screen will open. Make your adjustments and then click Next ... and so on. In addition to cropping the image in the batch filter, the print crop feature can be used when in the queue. Choose a size that has the aspect ratio required, click the crop button on and select "Honour Print Crop" in the e-mail/web copy dialogue. I should have asked what image format you are using, RAW or jpeg. My comments about using filter adjustments in the previous post really refer to jpeg files. If yo are using RAW, then the Studio Edition of Qimage has excellent features to refine RAW images that do not exclude the use of filters too. I'm using it to reduce the size of images so that Microsoft Access will accept and print them from our database. I also need to rename them and copy them into various locations so this is why FP is so useful. However, the ability to have it slow down and work in the background while I get on with something else would be nice! I seem to remember from the old NT4 days that you can adjust the properties of a shortcut to force a program to run in a "quieter" mode but I can't see how to do it in Windows 7.
