SSL is already used in all places (like ordering) where you put in personal information, but the whole site is SSL compatible. So if you are one who obsesses over security when you're not prividing personal info (if you just like seeing the "secure" icon in your browser), just type https in front of the URL and bookmark it.
Even this forum works with SSL (https) but some aspects/themes with Simple Machines forums are not 100% compatible with SSL so some screens might not look the same. Not much I can do about that without rewriting the forum code myself.
