I would like to suggest you create a locked topic which will only be updated if you release a new version of Qimage.

This would allow us to subscribe to that topic and get an email about the software update.

In case you are not aware, when opening Qimage, if a new version is on Mike's server, ready for download, you can see the notice at the top of the Qimage main screen and download right from Qimage.
I still like your idea too.
Many times, I am so engrossed in what I am doing, that I don't see the new version notice. Then again, I would likely miss the email too.
Maybe Mike needs an audible when we open Qimage when a new version awaits.

Good idea.  There's now a locked update thread in the Qimage forum.  Subscribe to that and you'll get update emails.

In the private message to you.
First line: put "Subscribe" in the body of the message.
Second line: email address I used to registered Qimage Studio.

or

Put "Subscribe" In the Subject
Email address I used to registered Qimage Studio in the body of the message

Open the topic - "Qimage Updates: Subscribe to Receive Qimage Update Emails"
At the top right of the page there is a "NOTIFY" tab, click that.
