Title: QI Studio Post by: Adam on February 25, 2011, 07:37:42 PM Can no longer toggle between "high quality preview" and "soft proof". Was this feature stripped out?

Check to see that you have an active Printer profile running in Qimage. I think you will find the ENABLE PRINTER PROFILE has the checkmark missing. Fred Title: Re: QI Studio Post by: Adam on February 25, 2011, 08:05:57 PM here are screen shots
Title: Re: QI Studio Post by: Fred A on February 25, 2011, 08:16:07 PM According to what I can see in the screen snaps... a bit small for my old eyes, but it looks like it's the HQ button that is grayed out, not the softproof button.
That being the case, you likely have ALL IMAGES selected in the Full Page Editor screen. That makes the HQ image appear all the time and the Button is grayed out because the image you see is already HQ. Change ALL IMAGES to Thumbs or something else you like. See my snap. I changed to selected image BTW, so there will be no improvements in studio and below editions of QI? thanks! Based on what Mike has said, and posted on here and the Qimage web page, Studio will get biannual upgrades which will/should contain Raw processing for additional cameras that arrive on scene and become covered for decoding and raw processing. I think Pro and Lite will be status quo, unless there is some code problem. That's the best of my recollection. Adam, I know you a long time. You have to get Ultimate!! It will blow you away! Fred Title: Re: QI Studio Post by: Adam on February 25, 2011, 09:20:02 PM Fred,
I don't see myself at this moment paying renewal fees at this stage. However, thank you for suggestion. I may give it a try. Hopefully it doesn't interfere with QI installation. Am I correct to presume that? |
