Hi Richard
For printing using Qimage, does it make any difference if AdobeRGB or sRGB color space are assigned to the TIFF file?
Adobe RGB has a larger gamut that sRGB so the former will retain more of the camera gamut (larger still) than sRGB. However, the gamut of most printers does not usually exceed that of sRGB, so in theory it should not make a significant difference.
However, I use Qimage Ultimate with a camera profile and usually print from the raw file. If I convert to sRGB and then print, there is a noticeable difference with an Epson R800.
"The proof is in the pudding", so make some test prints and see for yourself if there's a difference.
Since it's no problem to use Adobe RGB compared to sRGB, stick to Adobe RGB to be on the safe side.
Terry.
