1  Mike's Software / Qimage Studio Edition (archived) / P.Filter on: April 22, 2010, 04:57:15 AM
Am I right in saying that the P.Filter should apply to the selected print only?

Because when I apply a Black and White P.Filter the whole batch goes B&W, just as with G.Filter
2  Mike's Software / Qimage Studio Edition (archived) / adjusting colour on: August 28, 2009, 11:22:38 PM
I guess I'm a bit dense, but is there a way to adjust the overall colour of an image within Qimage, in other words if the test result is a bit magenta, can I remove that or do I have to go back to Photoshop?

I've played with the Sel.Color tab, but nothing actually seems to change for me.

I know I'm doing something wrong, so can anybody help me?

5  Mike's Software / Qimage Studio Edition (archived) / Qimage freezes...sometimes on: August 21, 2009, 12:12:40 AM
On rare occassions after a print run Qimage will not respond to actions, I can't click on any button, drop down box or even the X to close the software. The pointer will highlight the button but nothing happens.

I end up having to alt ctrl del to close it and then restart the application.

I've plenty of ram, and disk space on WinXp SP2

Here's a screengrab of the folder during the process/print, they are automatically deleted after printing

Are they part of Epson's spooling?

It's not important now, but I'd be interested to know  Wink

Yes the location is correct and I checked the date created and it's the time of the image processing in Qimage.

The files produced are : DSP5F1.tmp 263,732kb

I'm using WinXP SP2

When this PC was set up by the supplier (ironically to use ONYX PosterShop) the partition allocated to Windows on the C drive was only 5gb. I have asked on numerous forums over the years whether it was possible to increase that particular partition and I was faced with yes, but and maybe's, that pretty much involved using the CMD window so I gave up.

However yesterday while waiting for a possible answer here, I found this http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm. And managed to increase the partition to 30gb so hopefully it won't be an issue anymore.

Thankyou for comments people.

I notice that during the processing, Qimage produces large tmp files which it places in C:\windows\temp folder, unfortunately my C drive (a partition) doesn't have much space available, is there a way of directing Qimage to save them to a different folder?
