Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate Wish List / Re: Favorite profiles in Color Management Module and in Printer and Settings Menu

Thanks Terry,
This function is also very useful. But these presets always contain all print settings, this is not always useful. I created my own printer profiles for landscape (strong color, normal, mild ...) portrait (softer skin tones ...). If I now want to change a preset and select a saved preset, all other printer settings always change with it. So that I can only select my profile in the Color Management Module and have to shimmy through the profiles again. It's OK, it's only time.
Another, perhaps better solution would be that in the printer setup settings menu I can select or deselect which parameters are saved: - paper size, - paper type, - profile - qimage settings - ...
Thanks and regards Wolfgang

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate Wish List / Re: Export Plugin - customize the path for the export folder

Thanks you. Its not the perfect solution. Maybe you'll find another better solution? Perhaps it is possible with SymbolicLinks? Thanks Wolfgang You can move the folder but it must reside within the Qimage hierarchy. If you set your application data folder to D:\Print\Qimage then all of the Qimage subfolders (thumbs, save, Plugins) would be under that folder.
Regards, Mike

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate Wish List / Export Plugin - customize the path for the export folder
|

A request for the export plugin: I wish I could customize the path for the export folder. For example from C:\ProgramData\ddisoftware\Qimage\Plugins\Export\ to D:\Print\Qimage\Export\ or similar. I have my Printfolder on D:\Print\ For a better overview on my computer I would find all the prints in subfolder(s) of my print main folder.
Thanks Wolfgang

Thanks, this is a wonderfull function.
Can I choose that alternative is continuously printed the same way? Without that I have to delete the file "Delete to Start Printung.txt" ? Or a button in Qimage for Start continuously print. That would be a good addition.

Hi, That having been said, if you want to see the image in full screen (hover spacebar) you can print to file, and view it that way. That is a possibility, a little awkward with print to file. Nice and would be faster if you can view the images with the Mats in full screen mode in Qimage. Only a wish ... for futur versions. Greetings Wolfgang

Hi,
Is it possible that I can look at the picture and the Photo Mats as a preview in full screen mode? Do not get out that - can only see the image alone. Would be nice if that were possible, perhaps maybe build in? Best in the Page Editor.
Thanks and best greetings Wolfgang

Hi,
I support the request of Ernst Dinkla. I would find it better. A function add an extra border, better a signature area added at the bottom (or even selectable on the bottom, top, left or right edge) would be very helpful. The ultimate would be: add the image title (without the extension) automatically or manually (select the font and font size, the suffix: image title, author, datum ... ) and the selected (Tiff)-signature in the signature area (scalable). Various settings (font size, font and Tiff_signatur) should be stored and loaded it if necessary.
The proposed method with six steps is cumbersome for many images. A simple function "add a signature area" in the main menu, next to the Border function would be faster and better.
Thanks Wolfgang

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Re: Print to file with paper size equal to print size

Yes that is clear: If you make the page size the same as the print size reqired you will not get any "paper surface" showing. I have, however, different, changing image dimensions (not compliant to paper dimensions or other dimensions standards). That in a job. So, I must set the paper size to the image dimensions for each image. This is the additional effort that I would like to avoid. That is my wish: Anywhere in QImage a function For "Print to file" - " "fit paper to print size", opposed to fit image to paper size. Is maybe a rare request. OK, is not so bad, if QImage can not everything. For me, it's still a super program. Thanks Wolfgang
