1  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Re: New printer and profile used with existing saved jobs on: July 31, 2019, 03:55:34 AM
Thanks, Terry. I did reload the old printer driver, but unfortunately it seems that the only way to change a pre-saved file to suit a new printer is to begin from scratch. I have about eighty images with different sizes of each to do - all custom image sizes, various page sizes and various canvas roll widths. This might be something that Mike might consider in the future; lots of people upgrade a printer and still need to print old configurations on a new printer.

Thanks,
Paul
2  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / New printer and profile used with existing saved jobs on: July 06, 2019, 07:54:40 AM
I have just replaced an older printer with a new Epson P8070. I have hundreds of jobs saved which I need to use with the new printer, media setting and profile.

Is there a way to update all these jobs to the new printer and profile in one hit?  -  I sure hope so!!  Cheesy

I've gone way back through the forum and it seems that the suggestion was made a while back that the old printer should not have been deleted (too late!). In this case I would open each old job, then individually change the printer, media type, and profile, then re-save. This would be the second-best option.

So far I have tried opening old jobs but I always get, "Error  - Unable to load printer driver settings for ... " [the old printer]

Then, if I click OK (which is the only option) the job is automatically dropped onto whatever media size is already on the screen. So all jobs need to be set up again completely. And this is the unthinkable option!!  Cry

Please help me out with some good news!

Thanks,
Paul
