76  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Re: Printing off a Calendar on double-sided paper on: January 13, 2020, 09:01:32 PM
Now that I have my calendar printed, I wish to save it as a job which I can in future recall and reprint if necessary.
I assume that the correct procedure is as follows:-

>File>Save>Click on J and enter a name for example '2020 Calendar'

To recall

>file>Recall>enter the job name and bingo it should be there!

Am I on the right track?

On the same topic, what if I forget the name of the job, how can I find it?

Thanks again.
Bill

I have done as instructed and it has worked like a dream. This has saved me a lot of time.

Thank you both, Terry and Fred for your prompt replies.
Best regards

Hi Fred,
I have another little teaser for you!
I am printing my 2020 calendar on double-sided matt paper. January to June is no problem because it doesn’t matter in what sequence I print. However, with the second six months December needs to match up to January, November to February and October to March etc.
Rather than match and feed the sheets individually for printing, is there any way that I can instruct Qimage to print in a particular sequence.
Best regards
Bill

Hi Mike,
Thanks for reverting so quickly,
I’m using Windows 10 with an Intel I5 processor, 64bit operating system with 8 GB installed ram.
Yes I’m using the plug-in to transfer the images i.e.    File>Automate>Qimage Ultimate.
The images can be jpegs, psds or raw. Earlier I tried unsuccessfully to transfer direct from PhotoShop a jpeg 11×8.3”, (420ppi).
Regards
Bill

82  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / New To Q image ..some beginner questions on: January 01, 2020, 12:35:22 PM
I have some queries which i hope you can help me with:-
1.   I can only transfer images to PhotoShop when Qimage ultimate is open. If it is not open, the transfer from PhotoShop is unable to open in Qimage ultimate and Qimage ultimate appears to freeze. To get Qimage back working I need to power down my computer and restart it. Is this normal?
2.   In Qimage one, your sister brand, they offer the option of cut marks and corner marks. Are the options available in Qimage Ultimate?

I’m new to Qimage Ultimate and I’m making good progress. However, I have some questions which i hope somebody can help me:-
1.   Will Qimage accept unflattened psd files or must they be flattened?
2.   When an image is larger than the selected print size, does Qimage automatically size the image to fit the print size?
3.   How does Qimage handle an image that is larger than the page size selected?
4.   Can anybody explain the terms 1.Fit to page 2. Fit to paper 3. Original size.
5.   One of my thumbs is in red type while the others are in black. Why? Is it significant or should I just ignore it.
