I need to cut a mat with four apertures. I don't want to mess up boards working out how to do it, anyone help?
Dave.

Hi Dave

Maybe a little more information would help.

Do you have a mat cutter?  Are you familiar with the procedure for cutting a single aperture mat?

I cut most of my mats using a Logan mat cutter, so far mostly single mats, and occasional double mats.

If you need four apertures cannot envisage it being a problem. Are you talking the size and borders (ie the geometry of the cuts), or more the technique and procedure?

Willing to help if I can add something useful to the discussion.

Roy

Roy.
I have a Logan 750 mat cutter and can cut single aperture mat with no trouble.
I will try out the link sent by Jeff, it looks promising.
Cheers, Dave.

I use Lightroom 2.4 and print from that on an HP B9180.
I can print borderless on most sizes, A4, A3 6x4 Etc. But not on 'custom' sizes.
If I use qimage, will I be able to do that?
I want to print on half an A3+, which is 24x33cm but LR/printer will not let me print to the edge, it gives me a margin of .25in on top and side and .56in on bottom which is wasting my paper.
I cannot print to this size using the HP software, it has pre determined sizes unlike LR where you can specify a size.
It is very frustrating.
