What's the easiest way to mass convert a pile of Photoshop .PSD files to .JPG's??

Thx Terry, I dnloaded it and took a look...looks like a pretty useful program, you have to narrow it down to two folders at a time to work with...I'm not sure that I can narrow it that well.  Ideally, I'd like to do a search of all the drives and have it spit out lists of dupes ;-)  I'm probably asking for the impossible....

Does anyone know of a program that will search across all hard drives in a PC for duplicate files (mainly photos) and then give you the option to delete the dupes???  Of course, you could only tag EXACT dupes, but that would help as I'v recovered a backup drive that has many duplicate files on it, and others floating around that I'd like to clean up.

I too have the Oly E-10, bought it when it first came out....a 4 megapixel camera for under $1800, WOW!!  I've loved it ever since and still use it for studio work (HEAVY!!)  About a year ago I bought the Olympus E-410 SLR.  It's about the size of the old OM-1 and much lighter!!  I read the reviews an DPReview and it convinced me the camera was worth the price.  I wouldn't trade it for a Nikon!!!  As for the dust problen, the Oly has a "supersonic" shaker that vibrates each time you change lenses and shakes the dust off.  EVERY camera and brand has its' "bad eggs" and you'll hear horror stories on any brand you pick.  Check the DPReviews and the prices and your needs...if you don't buy more camera than you need, you can use the money saved to buy accessories!!! 

Cameras are only an extension of the photographer...I run rings around guys with Nikons and Canons, but not because of the camera...just get one to suit your needs.

Yes, that might give me a visual on how detailed the scanner would go, and God knows we have plenty of fabric!!  (Our business is  www.fabricdepotco.com  )  LOL

Seems that I have seen a printed "target" for a better word, where different resolutions were printed out for comparison (It sort of looked like a TV test pattern??).  That could be scanned and resolutions checked to see whih ones it starts to get fuzzy on.   I would imagine that it couldn't be a file that you print yourself because then you introduce the printer resolution capabilities.  I'll try the fabric and keep looking,  Thx

Is there a target and/or procedure for quantitatively determining the quality/capabilities of a scanner??  I have a scanner that claims it will scan up to 4800 ppi (optical, not software).  I'd like to determine if 4800 is actually better than 1200 or 2400 ppi, maybe "better" isn't the correct term....I'd like to test 1200, 2400 and 4800 and see the actual results...is the 2400 or 4800 fuzzy or sharp??

Is this camera a 4/3 sensor??  I have the Oly 410 which is a 4/3, but it DOES have a mirror, just like a "real" SLR ;-)  It also has "live view" (mirror is UP), BUT, when in live view, as you take the shot, it flips the mirror back down, then up again for the shot, a waste of time, don't you think??  Couldn't Oly come out with a firmware update to give you the choice to "lock" the mirror up in "live view"??
