laziness is the mother of invention.

Thanks Uncle Fred!

Now I have a feature request.

Instead of typing in Baybridge, I wish Flash Pipe would just add the original folder's filename automatically.  Sort of an argument like {o} added behind the date range.

Thanks, that helps me greatly.

Sadly though, flash pipe does not download files in subdirectories.

Baybridge
      music

It downloads the range of Baybridge pictures, but not files in Baybridge subdirectories.  My music files were not downloaded.

I am probably missing something.  I do have the other option selected.

I wish someone would write a program that would look at the dates of file creation , and rename the directory that those files are in.

Example

Before the sub directories are named this:

Mexico vacation
pictures of Mom
cats playing
around town

After the software runs, the names of the sub directories:

20090507 - 20090511 Mexico vacation
20070412 - 20070413 pictures of Mom
20080211 - 20080211 cats playing
20090312 - 20090615 around town

My present system is a mess, and something like this would really help me organize it.

Thanks for your thoughts

Thanks for the replies.  I don't print often, so I am not as familiar with Qimage as I should be.  Also, I agree many photos don't have to be upsized, but it is nice to have a batch option available as Flash Pipe does.  Easier for me to delete photos, than to manually upsample each one.

Thanks again

Sometimes I shoot a lot of telephoto pictures, and I know that some or most of them will need to be up-sized, so maybe an option to produce a directory of enlarged photos at 200%, 300% etc would be easy to implement, and might be useful to some people.

1st of all,
Thank You for Flash Pipe, I think it is a very cool tool, and I have ordered it.

2nd: Feature reguest
        Regarding Flash Pipe v2010.110

Automatically add copyright text to the web sized photo.  Nothing fancy needed.  Just text in the lower right hand corner would be fine.  Not a huge need for me, but if you've got nothing else to do ......  Wink

I like the ability to create web sized images automatically.  Thank you.  Great for using with digital photo frames.
