Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Print only top half of horizontal 8x10
|

Version 106.100 Trying to print an 8x10 landscape print of our family get together. The first try only printed the top half !!! After that I went with print preview to save paper. Same thing the next try. Everything printed okay the last time I used the Epson 3880, but I guess something happened in the last several weeks (have been otherwise involved, hence the length of time). I'm open for suggestions.

Mike, I shoot the Nikon Df, and I noticed there is a camera profile listed for it. I'm not sure when it was added to the list, but, whatever. However, when I look at my windows explorer, I note that all cameras use an "icm" file except my Df; it shows on my computer as a "qsn" file and is only 1kB in size! Is this an error on my part, your part, or the downloader's part? Tnx, Chuck

Fred, you are correct; no problems with Q-U. Interprets all my files as Adobe. However, when Mike announced this update as including "A major raw update that adds support for 31 new camera models: ... D800..." I was thinking that what was included was the file necessary to work directly on my D800. I guess not. So what is different/new as far as my camera (D800) is concerned? Thanks, Chuck

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Canon S90 raw processing

Over the weekend, I shot some wedding photos with the Canon S90 (raw). I just noticed that when I downloaded them they only show as adobe.icm, whereas my Nikon D300 shows as D300.icm. I looked at the profiles I had downloaded in the past, but do not see the S90 listed; however, I see that in announcement for v109 (I believe) the S90 shows as being available. Do I need to download that one specifically, or is it automatically available? Thanks, Chuck

If when you start your process you click on the "print size" on the right side of the page, it will allow you to call up the "Layout" that you built. See if that doesn't do what you're looking for. Chuck Tankersley

Mike's Software / Qimage Studio Edition (archived) / Re: Copying and/or printing the "Print Que"

Not quite what I had in mind. In my situation, I have three "jobs" saved which have photos selected from 2001-2007, 2008-2009, and 2010. When I recall each job, the "print que" is filled with all my selections (from several different folder locations). I cannot append "job 2" to "job 1" since when you recall a new job, the print que for the one before is cleared. I have approximately 100 photos in the three saved "jobs" that I want to list together. While I could do it one at a time with the RMB, it is very time consuming; however if that is the only way to do it, so be it! I'm just looking for an easier way. Chuck
