Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Installing QUimage
|

A few days ago my QU17-106 failed to work. I reinstalled it. Same thing. I cleaned the hard drive and tried again. This has been going on and on. I even disabled Windows Defender and tried to get a working version of Qimage. Today I downloaded QU17 - 119--same thing.
My operating system is Windows 10.
Below are screen prints. Please help.

Fred,
I found the mistakes--thanks to you.
In the Operations Box I needed to add Copy in the column Operation, and Photos in the column File Type. See Attachment.
Thanks loads to you and Terry.

Terry and Fred,
I appreciate your help, but I must be dense. Also, maybe I can't explain the problem.
First, I don't back up my hard drive. I only back up the various folders.
Second, attached are two additional screenshots: 1) "Flash card copy/move"; 2) "settings".
I would have included these in the original post, but there was a size limitation for attachments.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Vlady

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Error when copying files

I had to reinstall Windows 10 because of a virus or malware. I was warned to I would lose all my software, and I did. I reinstalled Office, PS Elements, etc. I also reinstalled Qimage 2017.102. I edited the settings, but when I try to transfer my files from the card to the computer an error message comes up that I don't have any media in the slot. So, I click on help, and it shows that I do have media in the slot. I can't figure it out. Please help.
I have to screenshot attachments.
Please help.

Mike,
v 104 solves the problem. I experimented jpg photos taken over several days, including today, with the Canon S90. When I processed them in PSE 9 and sharpened them with QU 2015 v103 I had the problem. Then when I sharpened the same photos with v 104 it worked like a charm.
Many thanks to you and to Fred for isolating and solving the problem.
Best,
Vlady
