Unclog Image not normal in 2022-110
Hi Mike Just Downloaded v110 and ran unclog utility. Got very strange results As you can see half page image is truncated and has no description line at bottom (#1)
Ran full page image and got following. Still no description line at bottom. (#2)
Finally, reloaded version 2022-109 and got following WITH description line (#3)
Images printed fine in 2022-110, it was just the unclog utility that was funky!
BTW - Love your and Andrews activities on Jose show last week!

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Qimage List Index out of bounds (-1)

Just downloaded v2020-103 and got this error "Qimage List Index out of bounds (-1)" when I tried to run my standard print schedule/unclog job routine.
I reinstalled v101 (didn't have 102 handy) and didn't know how to download a previous version and no error error shows up.

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate Wish List / Re: Suggestions about optimizing Qimage 2018 layout

Mike
I have a NEC Multisync P221 which has a native resolution of 1680x1050.
With the small thumbnail settings, the best I can do is 4 across which is not too great!
For those of us with "lower res" screens, the option of returning the thumbnail "tiny setting" would be really worthwhile - and those with higher res screens would just ignore it as their images would look like postage stamps. A tiny thumbnail to me would probably look like a small thumbnail on a higher res screen, which would suit me (and Just_user) fine.
Just a suggestion to a really great program.

Thanks for the response Mike - The fallback is valuable but, I was just surprised after it worked in 105 that 107 failed and thought you might like to know. BTW - your Print Unclog (after one printout of cyan only) just restored my R2880 cyan channel after it failed the nozzle check!

Things are interesting! When you first released your new QI plugin and I installed it and QI 2017-121, it found my Photoshop 2017CC but could not find my Lightroom 2017CC!
Then you released QI Plugin v105, and it found everything (incl Lightroom 2017CC).
Now with your latest update, I installed QI 2017-122 and then proceeded to install Plugin v107 (in that order), and now it finds LR2017CC, but, cannot find Photoshop 2017CC!
Maybe Plugin v108?

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Re: What is QImage "Elevator Pitch"

I find it interesting that with all the complaints about the shortcomings of Photoshop Printing function, and the fact that Adobe is aware of it through their own consultants and employees, they still refuse to correct it.
When Lightroom 1.0 arrived on the scene in February 2007, and I attended a NAPP Photoshop World in Boston in March 2007, all the zealots at NAPP (Schewe, Evening, Eismann, Kelby, Davis, Caponigro etc.) couldn't voice loud enough that they never print from Photoshop once they sampled the features in the Lightroom module, since Lightroom was much more batch and template oriented when compared to one-at-a-time Photoshop, and the potential for screw-up when one of the setting was missed. Even PS Elements offered batch and Picture package layouts before Photoshop got around to it.
Now, 4 years and two Photoshop versions and two Lightroom versions later, PS is still in the dark ages, Lightroom has enhanced their print module significantly with each version (with the help of PixelGenius - Jeff Schewe's company), but, it seems an upgrade to Photoshop's old school approach has been either rejected by Adobe Project Managers, or they just don't think enough people want it to make it to the final to-do list. Lightroom's soft proof seem's to be in that same arena, even though some third parties have brought out a limited plug-in that tries to fill the gap. Schewe has said it will either make it to version 4 or heads will roll. Since QImage already has it, so I don't care!
In terms of an Elevator pitch, the new Qimage video tutorials are great if someone wants to sample the potential of Qimage flexibility without even laying out a cent.
As an aside, it would be nice to know who belongs to the voices in the videos!

Hi Terry. I've set it to NO on every install I've done since starting with Q (about 8 years ago?) and it always comes up with YES checked as the default. It's certainly not a big deal but I thought I'd mention it.
Like rachlinent, I have to remember to choose no desktop icon for every update for as long as I can remember. I like to launch Qimage using the quick launch toolbar in my Windows 7 -64. Works better than double clicking any desktop icon, and my desktop is always clean.
