The only place you have me... is when you say the print is green.
It occurred to me that you might be looking at softproofing and calling that a print.
I hope not!
Softproof uses that monitor profile too.

Fred - you are the man. Rebuilding thumbs did the trick (on screen at least.) I will use srgb for my monitor profile now, and rebuild one with my spyder later. As to the prints, yes, I mean the ones on paper. I suspect it is unrelated, yet coincidental. The prints on paper look exactly like they used to on screen, before your tip. Very green and nasty. I have double checked Mike's instruction at
http://ddisoftware.com/tech/articles/june-2005-using-icc-profiles-with-canon-printers/and found my settings to be accurate, using multiple printer profiles. I think my next step may be a deep nozzle cleaning, and perhaps new ink - as it has been several months since I have printed anything.
With that said, while my other photo apps were rendering colors correctly on the screen, they all have the same problem printing green, which further substantiates my suspicion to a physical issue.
Any other ideas?
