As a longtime user and fan of Qimage on Windows, I have finally decided to switch to the Mac platform.

I wouldn't do so without Qimage, of course, and I understand Mike has had "positive reports" from at least some who have done so successfully. I do expect some idiosyncrasies however, and would like to be prepared before I take the plunge.

I am hoping that some folks here who have trod this path before me can share their experience and can save me from making too many mistakes!

The kind of questions I have:

Which is better: Fusion, Parallels, Virtualbox?
Windows XP or 7?
Any Mac setup tips (is "Bootcamp" involved? Whatever that is...)
How to manage color - what do I need in Windows vs Mac?
Passing images to QI(Win) from PS(Mac) or LR(Mac) - any issues?
What problems/quirks have you encountered - how did you fix them, or work around them?
