1  Mike's Software / Qimage / Re: Tips for Qimage users switching to Mac? on: September 29, 2010, 09:22:33 PM
I have been using Qimage on a MAcBook Pro for 3 years or more with Windows XP SP3 and Bootcamp.
No issues in Qimage but sometimes Windows Explorer windows fail, usually requiring a restart.

I have a bootcamp folder on my Mac Pro, have the MacBook connected with Ethernet to this folder. I usually copy the files as the Explorer problem above is a problem sometimes.

I have a real PC, but only need the PC for Qimage so it's easier for me to leave the PC for the kids, and keep a clean Windows install with just Photoshop ,  Qimage and all the Browsers fro web dev testing.

Bootcamp is free, so that is why I use it.

Actually I found a way, print with template centered.

Is there no other way?

I've been using Qimage for some time, I really wish it was easier to find help. Since LR 3, this is the first time I have needed to print with Qimage.

Still if any one knows how to , please say.
3  Mike's Software / Qimage / How to print horizontal images in portrait format? on: September 28, 2010, 07:17:17 PM
I can't figure this out.

I want to print 4 up 275x355mm prints with mixted original formats.

When I uncheck the lock , or custom set up lock rotation cause the images to either rotate and fill the frame or not do what I want.

What I want is the portrait format print in the portrait optimised layout  frames at 275x355, and the landscape images to print in the portrait frame with white space centered top and bottom to all be cut to 275x355mm for a book.
This is on 610mm roll paper.
