Hello to all,

I'm having the exact same problem.
Today, while working in version 2022.114, I printed several sheets of A3.
Then, in Qimage, I switched to another type of paper, and then opened the Full Page Editor window - and an error window immediately appeared:
       List index out of bounds (1)

At this moment, the programs were launched: Adobe Lightroom, Explorer, Notepad.
It was not possible to close Qimage by right-clicking on the panel icon - "Close Window"
I had to "kill" the Qimage process through the Task Manager.

When restarting Qimage, an error window appeared:

.. of course chose - Normal. Startup was normal.

I printed 1 sheet A3, and then when I tried to open the Full Page Editor, an error window appeared again:

.. again I had to "kill" through the Task Manager.


I don’t know if this is related or not - but FOR THE FIRST TIME Qimage began to hang here with me from version 2022.111.
  And I've been using the program since 2010 ...

In version 2021.111, the program began to freeze after trying to click on the button - disable the "Print by size (Auto)" option.
Then there was no error that occurred when trying to open the Full Page Editor window, but the program simply hung in a similar way.

Now I don’t see this button in the program interface, but the program still freezes sometimes, although in a different situation.


I hope my comment helps find and fix the problem...

I have the same problem 3 times in diferents jobs, using QI at ten years dont have this.

The non-recognition problem I solved by uninstalling and reinstalling the printer from scratch with the new driver.

With the new drive the Gloss does not work right and the margin print set by Qimage does not print correctly as it was done before.

Anyone else having a problem with the drive and Print Utility?

My system is running Windows 10, 64-bit and my 3 printers are HP Z3200

Is not a random order, it follows the order of creation, after months is impossible to find the size, so does the Epson 4900 and the Z3200

I'll have to downgrade to 2017,104.
I use more than 50 paper sizes, if no order I lose too much time searching.
I hope you get a way to sorting by name, there I am in the old version.

On 2015 and olders QI all HP 3200 formats are sorted by size, now is the same crazy sort them Epson, I prefer size sorted not atual ou Epson crazy sort

I really don’t know what’s happens, today I install 136 version print many different images, color, BW, large, small,  some images with dark rectangle on 135 and no problem, everything perfect.

Anyone have any idea what happened in the 135 and that is fixed in 136?

I do all my color profile, but the problem are on two Z3200, one in my house (special tuned z3200) and other z3200 HP original in studio, both has the same problem using different profiles, different paper, different sizes, different connection and different archive but not on every archive.

Don´t do the problem on all archive, I test same different problematic image in Jpeg and tiff, 8 and 16 bits, 150, 200 or 400 ppis. and the problem are the same.

All time I print same image, JPG or Tiff dark rectangles are in the same position, if I rotate image or change margins square go to different position and images with same dimension do different dark rectangular position.

Every time I use output resolution on Qimage off, let driver handles, all images are 200ppis or 300ppis

Today I print 30 images 40cmX61cm Rag paper at Z3200 and 4 prints 112cmX165cm on Rag Baryta on Z3100 at same time using 129 and all perfect, at finish reinstall 135 to test z3200 and odd problem do on first print beginning.

I use Win7 – 64
Z3200 and Z3100 are Photo not PS

QU v2014.135 produces some random rectangular darker areas on prints.

Only on Z3200, I test on two different printers and don’t do on Z3100.

Printing using, Lightroom, Photoshop or Qimage v2014.129 everything is perfect.

All Z3200 use last firmware and driver, I reinstall software and don’t solve problem.

My Qimage presets are:
No Filters.
No interpolation.
Sharpen default.
Color Management by Qimage.

I had 2 printers Z3200 and one Z3100 on the same computer, all 3200 using PCL3 and only one had problem describe by Kcb, but not showing on driver preview, only white squares on print and when using low quality (fast)
This happens a long time without HP efetive solution
I do not trust the competence of technicians from HP in Brazil and I never use fast mode in my jobs, this is no problem to me. But it is curious.
