Thanks Ray,
I can paste the address into qimage and it loads that folder, but it doesn't show up in the tree. There should be a better way! I don't think it's a pc/mac thing because the pc can see the mac just fine, just not qimage.

I've clicked on the network icon and refreshed that, well, I've tried refreshing just about everything. This is driving me crazy!

An update.
I still can't navigate to the Mac in Qimage explorer but I can in Windows7 explorer. However, I found that I can drag images from the explorer onto the que and then re-size them from there.

Thanks Terry,
F5 is the shortcut key for rebuilding thumbs, which I've tried. I don't know if it's because I'm connected to the Mac via afp or not.

5  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Connecting to Mac from PC on: January 26, 2012, 11:03:31 PM
Hi there,
I'm running Windows 7 for QImage and my iPF8300 only. I run the rest of my studio on Macs, I'm able to connect to my Mac in the explorer in windows but when I try to navigate that same route in the file tree in QImage it doesn't exist. I've tried renewing and rebuilding the thumbs etc. I'm dumb when it comes to PC.

Thanks for any help.

6  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Printing multiples of same size on: March 19, 2011, 06:16:15 PM
Hi there,
I'm trying to print 142 4x6s on my ipf8300, I'm using 24" roll set to be 48" long per page. I've used the online help documents to arrange them but it seems to make every page a different layout and with a number of "pinwheels" that make it difficult to run a roller trimmer. At this point I don't really care as much about the waste as I care about fewest cuts on my trimmer.

So far, I have the masters coming in already sized for 4x6, I have Auto cropping on, I have orientation unlocked, and layout set to Optimal print placement.

Please help ;-)

I just came across this post while here learning about QI Ultimate. Clicked on the link and noticed that I was the one that started the poll  Grin  My poll originally didn't include QI but i was quickly reprimanded for not including QI as one of the options.

Long story short, I now own QI Ultimate. So far so good, im here tonight to learn some more. I'll admit I HATE windows 7 and all other versions, so please please make a Mac version!! There's only so much parallels and windows I can take.

Glad to be here,
Ryan
