1  Mike's Software / Qimage Studio Edition (archived) / Qimage Constant Lockups in Windows XP... How do you Completely Uninstall? on: October 10, 2010, 02:07:01 AM
I tried to uninstall and re-install Qimage, but it still locks-up.

I am using this in Windows XP.

I have tried to reset the settings, but this didn't help.

How do I complete uninstall the software, so I can try to re-install it.

Which Registry settings do I delete. Are there any other directories other than /program files/qimage?

The problem is it locks up and I need to terminate the software.  when it locks up it hold Qimage at 50 cpu usage until I terminate. It doesn't matter what I'm doing in qimage. I may be just looking at the menus on top or opening a file.

I know I'm in need of a new computer, but a crashing Qimage isn't enough to upgrade.
2  Mike's Software / Qimage / Re: 64 bit use on: October 12, 2009, 08:29:17 PM
I was also thinking about moving my photo editing computer to 64 bits to take advantage of the higher memory capabilities. I have had problems with very large photos printing with only the 2 gigs.

If I go to Windows 7 64 bit and a larger amount of memory, Can Qimage take advantage of that? Not being a native 64 bit application I would think there are limits.

Thank you,
Tom

I would like to suggest you create a locked topic which will only be updated if you release a new version of Qimage.

This would allow us to subscribe to that topic and get an email about the software update.

Thanks,
Tom
