1  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Qimage One renewal instead of QIU? on: January 21, 2018, 12:19:16 PM
I have just received a mailshot email from Mike announcing the new QI One for Mac and Windows. I have d/loaded the Windows trial and rather like it, as I rarely use any of the non-printing functions of Ultimate, and find the UI uncluttered and much easier to navigate around. As my annual renewal sub for Ultimate has now come due, is it possible to renew for One rather than Ultimate instead? I really don't want to have to pay the full initial price of $60 for a cut down version of what I already have.

Hi Fred,

I do apologise. I did indeed select the Support blue link contained in the Registration Info window that opens when you select the Registration Info... tab in Help menu.
It then took me to the page you reference here: http://www.ddisoftware.com/qimage-u/support.htm, from where my email client opened with a pre-formatted/addressed blank email to mchaney@ddisoftware.com, containing the request: "Remember to give us your name and both your old and new email addresses:" The message was dated 01 Jan 2018 @ 2305 Hrs (UK time)

I then wrote an email directly to mchaney@ddisoftware.com on 04 Jan 2018 @ 2227hrs (UK time) asking if there was a problem actioning my previous request.

UPDATE: In both emails, I used my currently registered email address as the Sender.

I sent Mike an email through the QU Help tab on 01st January asking for my registered email to be changed, and then again on 04th January, but I am still unable to change it in QU to my new address.

A return receipt to my latter email was also unforthcoming.

I also tried the same procedure almost a year ago when I last renewed my subscription, and had the same lack of response. However, I was then preoccupied by other matters, so didn't chase it.

Is there anything I am doing wrong? I'm beginning to feel that I am only able to get a prompt response when I pay money.  Roll Eyes
