Version 8.0 is fully Windows 8 compatible, features an updated (more modern dark gray) UI, and offers more accurate color when creating ICC profiles thanks to advancements in color technology over the last few years. User friendly tips such as a warning to change old profile descriptions and automatic naming of modified (tweaked) printer profiles will help you along the way as you create the most accurate profiles to date! Enjoy the subtle color improvements that result from the v7.0 --> v8.0 upgrade and the UI changes that make the software easier than ever to use.
