Let me answer in the order received.

Yes the "pictures' folder is an actual folder and not a link.

However, going to windows explorer and right clicking on properties I noticed that for some reason Windows made this a 'hidden' folder, (for reasons I do not understand).  Once I unchecked the 'hidden' box to reveal this folder it suddenly appeared in the QImage window.  Who would have  'thunk' this was the problem.    Thanks for making me look at the properties for this folder.  I never would have found it otherwise.

I have my hard drive partitioned and my photos are stored in a folder on my D drive.  QImage Ultimate does not see this folder but all the other folders on this drive are shown in QImage   Can anyone explain this?  I have attached an image showing the Picture folder missing from the QImage window.
