I think you can see that on the top view and the bottom view with the projection lines, the smallest gamut is the printer and the largest is the camera raw. Jpegs from camera are also larger than the printer in most areas too. That's certainly the case for a Canon 350D and Epson R800 and I aways understood that the R800/1800 had an excellent gamut.
From what I have seen with my equipment, Adobe RGB is plenty big enough. However I usually print from raw and therefore utilise the camera gamut by having a camera profile activated in Qimage SE.

I've just tried this myself, I may have been wrong in my assumption (based on what  remember from the past), but changing the resolution did not seem to make much difference. Changing to a faster interpolation method should make a difference and using smaller images to start with helps a great deal. However, producing an extra set of images for the contact sheets does not seem worthwhile and takes time anyway.

Just go to the interpolation and printing options and reduce the interpolation ppi to a lower value or even off. There are 6 options in the dialogue, see attached screen snap.
I don't think anyone would want Qimage to modify these values automatically, it's your choice, quality or speed.

I thought I’d posted this as an OT topic on the Yahoo group, but I can’t find it now so here is another version.
Many will know of the Windows XP “Color Control Power Toy” that is able to visualise colour gamuts in 3D. However only two icc profiles can be compared and it is not available for Vista.
There are some sophisticated programs for this purpose with various other tools but a simple free one is available from
http://www.tglc.com/english/PerfX/3D_Gamut_Viewer.html.
It allows up to 4 profiles to be compared and will work with Vista. There’s no installer provided but it’s easy to create your own program folder and shortcuts.

You might ask why bother with this? I agree it’s a bit of a toy but can be useful in helping to understand some aspects of colour management and the meaning of gamut.

I think the 13x19 is a nominal size and is based on a metric size (A3+ = 329x483 mm). I'm sure Qimage is telling you the correct numbers.

Do you know about disabling borderless expansion/overspray in Qimage? You may want to do this to avoid cropping edges of the image.
It's in the Page Formatting menu but be aware you may get slivers of white on some edges depending on the accuracy of the printer fed mechanism. That can be overcome by adjusting the page margins a little from the zero values; plus and minus values.

Looks like Dennis beat me to it. A picture is worth a 1000 words.
I couldn't help noticing you had images in that folder named with specific sizes - created in PS I assume.
With Qimage there is no need to create so called "sized" images (images are in pixels not inches, it's only a tag). Use the original image, edited to make it nice if required, and open in Qimage.
Specify the inch size in Q and everything else is automatically taken care of, re-sizing the pixels for printing etc.

Hi EB,
What printable area is showing above the page preview, that should be the same as the page size you have specified in the driver.
Also, check the actual print size as given in the queue pane below the thumbs, is that what you expect?
I wonder if you have some additional page margins set. Check in the Page Formatting menu or via the menu cheater & Page Margins.
When borderless is set, the values should be zero.

The format is very similar to another forum I occasionally use here in the UK.
Looking at the files sizes of some of the Yahoo forum uploads, there may be occasions when 128KB limit would be a problem.
