Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Memory full
|
on: July 18, 2023, 11:40:27 AM
|
We have a Xerox C235 colour laser. We are printing six to a page (high res photos). A single page will print OK. Two or more pages result in "memory full" errors on the printer. The settings are to spool one page at a time (in case that helps). The printer does not allow for more memory. Are there any additional settings within Qimage that might help? If not, is there any software you know that can sit between Qimage and the printer to regulate the amount of data being transmitted such that I can print a 26 page job in one go, rather than one page at a time?
Many thanks

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Page border for multiple-image print
|

Is there a way of applying a border to an A4 page which has been set to print nine images to a page (number of prints per page: 3 x 3)? The border settings I have tried apply to each individual image whereas I want to apply one around the outside of the multiple image page. TVM

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Strobe effect

When re-naming files, is there any way of turning off the strobe effect that has been introduced ("Updating links" flashes on and off during the renaming process; the top bar of the window also flashes)?

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / CR2 correction
|
on: September 30, 2019, 11:40:51 AM

Occasionally, an incorrect setting on our classroom camera (Canon G7 X Mark II) is chosen, and raw photos are taken. These appear in QU as slightly curved, as though taken through a fish-eye lens, and the corners have dark shaded curves in them. If I open one of these CR2 photos using the Windows 10 photo app, it displays as I would expect it to for about a second, and then the whole fish-eye / dark shading view is imposed on the image. Can Qimage correct this, please? Note: I am not a professional photographer (but QU is brilliant for our purposes) so apologies if that makes the advice more difficult.

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Batch edit mixed resolutions
|

When I reduce the size of photos, I need the long side to be 1024. At the moment I am applying the filter to batches of photos that I have sorted into the same resolution. It would be *much* more convenient if I could just put the mixed resolution photos into a single folder and tell Qimage to reduce them so that all of them have a long side of 1024. Is that possible? Currently, if I put photos of 4000 x 3000 and 5472 x 3072 into a single folder I end up with some reduced to 1024 x 749 and some to 749 x 561.
