1  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Re: Cropping of images on: December 11, 2019, 01:11:27 PM
Thanks guys.
Not surew what I've done but I now have different issues!
On the 2018 version, where the problems exist, The print size is 9"x6" and so is the media size set.
When I select an image for printing, it pops into the display area, but each image selected has a different print size!
6 x 7.37 on one.
5.99 x 9.10 on another.
6 x9 on another.
5.94 x 9.03 on another.
Back to 6 x 7.37 on another.

Does that give any clues?
2  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Cropping of images on: December 07, 2019, 12:41:25 PM
I run QImage Ultimate on 2 laptops. On one, it's 2017.112, on the other it's 2018.110.

Last night, on the 2018 version, when I select an image for printing, random images appear cropped and of course, print as they appear. When viewing the image outside of QImage and as a thumbnail in QImage it is absolutely fine - it's only when I select it to print that it's cropped. And as I say, it's not every image - it's totally random.

Copying the image to the other laptop, running the 2017 version, there's no problem.

Any idea what's going wrong?
3  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Screen Display in my new copy on: October 11, 2017, 05:36:05 PM
Hi all.
I've been using Qimage for many years and have just bought the latest version for a new laptop.
When I open up, the main screen is split into 3 horizontal sections.
On the left - thumbnails for whichever file I opn.
In the middle - a narrow section where a very small copy of any image I select appears.
On the right - a large section with 3 tabs at the top. Printers & Settings, Prints and Queue. Click on any of these tabs and a sub menu opwns up.

My preference is for the horizontal split to have just 2 sections.
Thumbnails on the left - about 2/3 of the screen.
On the right - a large area with the 3 tabs at the top. This allows images selected to be displayed much larger.

How do I change the display?

I bought Ultimate a year ago. On 31 December I received an email giving me 7 days to download the latest version before the free upgrades expired.

Took advantage of this 2 days ago.

I've just tried printing for the first time since then. Everything goes as before until Finished Processing message appears.

Then, there's what sounds like 4 taps followed by....... nothing! No prints.

Is there some additional (new) step in the printing process?
