Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Unwanted Borders
|

Every time I take a new batch of photos and drag them into the 'page' area a red border appears around each image. I can't seem to find a way to disable this. All I've determined so far is that I have to go through each photo in turn and disable the borders. Even if I select all images this disabling process only affects a single image. I'm clearly doing something wrong so would appreciate any help that can be given. I'm using Qimage Ultimate on a Windows 10 PC. Thanks.

Thanks for your quick response; I did what you suggested and see that my use of the term 'page' was incorrect. What I want to change is the background appearance of everything to the left. The default seemed to be a darkish gray but somehow I inadvertently changed something so that this background now is white. I'd like to return it to what I think was the default appearance. Again - thanks for your help.

I've been using the program from a few weeks now. Most recently I've discovered that when I print out to a file, after tweaking in Qimage Ultimate, that the original filenames are not retained; rather they're called 'template...... Today is the first time this has happened so I presume that I changed something inadvertently but have no idea what that might be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've begun to use this software but am having a few issues. I'm trying to place an 8.5"x11" image on a page that is 11"x14". I can do that with no problem but when I set borders arong the image the actual dimensions that aresult are not what I specified. I've put two borders around the image and indicated that the borders should go into the image, not grow out. When I make a file to send to the printer, the dimensions of the image which has the appropriate borders is not 8.5 x 11 but approx 8.5 X 12. The overall image is 11 x 14 as it's supposed to be. Am I doing something wrong? I'm not using the 'Photo Mats' option but choosing the borders after clicking the small icon that has 3 horizontal parallel black lines on it. Any help will be much appreciated. Brad
