Mike,

Thanks for responding.  I tried installing the latest version on another machine and I can get to the web site if I say yes to that question and I can also get to the help file from the program.  I guess something is hosed on my other system for sure.  I uninstalled it from there and deleted the FlashPipe registry entry in HKCU/Software/ddisoftware/ and reinstalled.  Now I get these two messages from windows (two screen captures attached).  The first one appears if I click on either yes or no for the web site question.  The second appears after I close the first message window. Maybe I should just give up on this application.

v2010.103 trial, Vista 32 SP2

Settings seem to be saved and remembered now but I still get an empty "Developed" folder next to the date folder created for my Raw and Developed files.  The date folder also contains a "Developed" folder that indeed does contain my developed raw files.

Also, as in prior versions, when I first open FlashPipe, after the trial message, a message box appears asking if I want to go to the FlashPipe web site now.  If I click either the "Yes" or "No" buttons FlashPipe will open.  It never goes to the web site.

There does not seem to be a help file, is that as intended?

v2010.101 Vista 32 SP2 trial.  It seems that most of the setting options are ignored for me.  I have unchecked "Develop raw photos after they are copied/moved" but FlashPipe still develops my raw files.

Also, when I first open FlashPipe, after the trial message, a message box appears asking if I want to go to the FlashPipe web site now.  If I click either the "Yes" or "No" buttons FlashPipe will open.  It never goes to the web site.

v2010.101 Vista 32 SP2.  The setting for the folder I entered for the raw files reverts to "Developed" after closing and re-opening FlashPipe.  Also, an empty "developed" folder is appearing next to my date folder specified for the downloads, is this normal?

To reproduce: Make sure that "Place raw photos in a separate folder" in the settings window is checked, enter a folder name, then click the OK button at the bottom of the window.  The setting window closes.  Now close FlashPipe and re-open it.  Choose edit/settings and the setting for the raw folder has reverted to the default "Developed".

One more thing.  Should there be a help file?  When I choose Help/Contents, I get nothing.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled.  If I run the program as administrator, it seems to work OK.  If I run as normal user, no good - access denied message + not able to close.  The two files created under the ProgramData folder only have read and read+execute privileges for my normal user account.  Maybe this relates to the problem?  I changed the security privileges for my user account for these files to allow full access and this seems to solve the problem when running with normal privileges.

I'm running Vista 32 bit SP2.  Installed FlashPipe using all default settings.  Got "access denied" message.  When I inserted a memory card into the card reader, got a blue screen and automatic re-boot.  After re-boot, opened the application and unchecked the auto open on card insert option.  Inserted a card, no blue screen this time but still get the access denied message and can not close the application.  Used task manager to close and promptly uninstalled.  Just reporting here in support of others with similar experiences.
