1  Mike's Software / Profile Prism / Cannot get "Generate Profile" button to work on: August 13, 2018, 08:03:31 PM
Followed directions exactly.
Profile Prism v8.43
Printer Profile for a Canon Pro9000 Mark II
Used Epson 2450 Photo scanner - using Vuescan - output Raw 48 bit RGB, raw compression "off"
Reference Target: R110112.txt
Printer target: printer-target-40.tif
Got a message after setting corners on both the target and the printed target. No major problems.
"Jiggle corners off for Reference Target but on for Printer Target.
"Create Profile" button is grayed out.

What am I missing, doing wrong?

Thanks for any suggestions.
2  Mike's Software / Profile Prism / Re: Which monitor controls to use? on: October 24, 2015, 02:25:22 PM
I am referring to calibrating as discussed in the "Profile Prism" page "Procedure for calibrating a monitor, backgournd" http://www.ddisoftware.com/prism/help/msteps.htm

This differentiates calibrating from profiling which seems to indicated that profiling is the procedure using a hardware measuring device. Your reply seems to indicate that you take calibration as the procedure that uses hardware measuring.

So I mean calibration as discussed in the page listed above, i.e. no hardware other than the monitor itself and the graphics card.
3  Mike's Software / Profile Prism / Which monitor controls to use? on: October 24, 2015, 04:40:51 AM
I have a Dell 2414H monitor. There is a NVIDA control panel, a Dell Display Manager and monitor controls. Which ones should I use to calibrate the monitor when starting out setting up profiles in Profile Prism? Should I turn any of these off, or should I set any of them to Reset?

Thanks for any help for the newbie!
