What Fred said on page 2 "Set it with your favorite paper, best quality setting, and matching profile from Canon, make a print to be sure all is behaving correctly, and now click on the SAVE button. Top left corner of the screen, second button in from left. When the box opens Click the P button on the bottom and name your SETUP. Click SAVE".
Now whenever you want to retrieve all of the correct settings, just click the first yellow button (Recall), and when the box opens click P button and you will see that setup which you just saved. Open that guy, and all is back ready to print as you did before. It saves all driver settings, profiles, paper size, placement, etc. Try it.

OK I add my photo to the live view box by clicking on the 4 bar symbol on the thumbnail. A box pops up with different sizes. If I want to print a 8 1/2 x 11 photo there are no options for that size. It goes as far as 8 x 10. What should I click? This is where I think I'm making my mistake.
Slow down... you have to get the hang of the basics. All printers need "housekeeping room" That is, they offer a printable area of a specific size based on the sheet of paper you are using. So if you are using 8.5 x 11 paper, the printable area above the Live View will say (under normal circumstances), 10.685 x 8.0.; not 8.5 x 11. That is the largest print you can make on 8.5 x 11, unless you turn on borderless. Then it will make 8.5 x 11 prints. Just let Qimage work for you... click the zebra button as we call it, and select your 8 x 10 print. Now think logically. Does the picture I see (10.0 x 6.66) have enough space on the 10 inch ends for some cropping to fill out the 6.66 to 8.0 without cutting off aunt Suzie on the left, or Uncle Bob on the right? If so, in that same box (zebra button) click the crop scissor on. You now have 8 x 10. But you like the look of a fuller page, so again, zebra Button, and select Fit to Page. Placement set to Optimum Spaced of course. As for the list of sizes, you can add, change, or delete as many sizes as you wish Fred How do you add to the list of sizes in the pop up from the zebra bar?

No mystery... user ignorance.. Knowledge from you solved the mystery... It's working great Thanks... I will be sure to contact you and others if more help is needed. Actually I do have a question, I have some Red River paper that measures 8 1/2 X 11 I don't see those numbers in the drop down sized. Do I manually type in that size. Can you explain the proper way to do this?
