1  Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Re: Color Issue(greens coming out as blue) on: January 19, 2017, 04:05:48 PM
Hi Mike,

Sorry I meant to delete my post in the Qimage forum(first time posting on here). We are using Qimage Ultimate. I was able to re-save that profile as version 2 and that fixed the problem. But maybe that old profile had just become corrupt(since ultimate should work with version4)?

When printing from Qimage on watercolor paper we are having a color problem where greens are coming out as blue. I'm thinking that this might have something to do with the ICC profile not being compatible with Qimage. The color comes out fine when printing from Qimage on other materials(different ICC profiles) such as canvas, etc.... Also the color comes out fine when printing on the watercolor through photoshop using the same ICC profile. I'm not sure if something has changed that caused this problem to start happening(as we just started having customers complain about this issue) or if we have just never noticed this issue before. For all the other ICC profiles we use for the other materials, we created them ourselves and made them version 2. However for the watercolor we got better results with using the ICC profile created by the paper manufacturer which happens to be a version 4 ICC profile. Could using a version 4 profile instead of a version 2 have something to do with this, or maybe something else that I'm completely missing?
