Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Information window

Hello all, I am a newbie to this forum but have been using QImage for many years. Every time I click on a customers folder to select images for printing, a window comes up regarding unsupported files. This window always comes up the first time you use a new folder and then it does not show the next time you access the folder.
My question is.. is there any way to turn off this "information window"? One of my employees said the rip crashed and now this window is coming up on every folder we access..including ones we have used for months. (I suspect when the rip opened after the crash, he opted to reset QImage instead of open as normal and the preferences got reset.) We have hundreds of folders we use for QImage and we have read the info enough that it is not needed!!

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Re: Size reduced when layout is changed

Thanks for the reply Fred..
The trouble is we don't resize, drag or move any images in the layout window. We learned our lesson early on about that. As I mentioned.. our files are set up before importing into Qimage.. We only use Qimage for opening a print environment and nesting with borders.
For some reason this re-sizing seems to happen on either a few images in a layout or sometimes on all of them. We have checked to make sure all of our environments are set to B+. I guess it is possible it is happening when we click on the circle icon to change the border size.

Mike's Software / Qimage Ultimate / Size reduced when layout is changed

Hoping someone can help with this issue we have had for many years. It seems when we nest jobs, Qimage will sometimes shrink the size of a file by the size of the border. I am aware of the B - B+ setting.. we have no need for the B setting as we always create our images at the size we want at 300dpi and add the borders in Qimage. Most of the time, this is not a problem, but it seems that this resizing issue happens if we make any changes to the layout like rotating or making different borders on different images. This problem costs us a great deal of money in re-prints! We are seriously considering a different RIP, however I like that Qimage uses the Epson driver and gives us very good color with our custom profiles.
Is there any way to lock Qimage so it will only print at the size the file is set up for?
