I really only need to know the image profile was Prophoto.  I do see something that might need a slight tweak to force LCMS to do higher precision color conversions (full precision vs high precision).  White seems to end up at 254,255,254 in some cases when using the faster "high precision" method.  That might be what is causing a tiny color cast in white.  Surprised you can even see a 1 RGB change near white but I suppose depending on the printer profile it could cause the printer to put a tiny amount of ink on the paper.  I'll release a 2026.103 and we'll see if that fixes it.

Regards,
Mike

I can't share the image(s) I'm printing. Just test with any image with a white background. Most of my print output files are in ProPhotoRGB

Epson P9000 and P9500 - the issue presents on both machines
I'm using a range of papers, with custom profiles that have given me no issues for years.

The issue is not present in 2025.105 and earlier, but shows up in 2026 versions without any changes to settings, media and profiles. I can print from 2025.105 without problems, then save the job. Then I install any 2026 version and recall the job. I print and the issue shows up in the print preview.

Could you put the image on google drive and post a link?  I'd also need to know what printer, media type, and printer profile you are using in Qimage.  This looks like a profile issue but I'd have to have those things to check it out.

Regards,
Mike

Hi Mike, I've noticed a processing issue with the latest versions. Pretty sure it started with the first 2026 version, and it goes away when I revert to 2025.105.

Pure white image, 255,255,255, is being processed to a very light green tone. Only just visible in print preview and on print, but it's there.
See attached screengrabs from my Print Preview, one of them I boosted with a levels layer to show the issue more clearly.

There's a pure white border from image to corner marks, which does not have the green tone.

See the attached screenshot.  I added the image at "Fit to Page" size but the top of the castle is cut off: as you can see by the selected thumbnail on the left.  That's because there are two cropping methods in Qimage where you give Qimage permission to crop: (a) to get the exact size you chose and/or (b) a previous manual crop created by you.  Both are chosen by you, the user, so...

Just make sure the two cropping methods are turned off if you don't want any of the image cropped: see attached.  Select the print on the live view first and then turn OFF automatic cropping (arrow #1) and then turn off manual/user print cropping (arrow #2) if it exists - click on the cropping icon on the print if one exists and you can remove any manual cropping.

Once you do that, the entire image will fit on the page even if you click "Fit to Page" after that.  Just be aware that if you choose to not crop your image at all, it may not fill out the entire page (or chosen size), because it can't without cropping.

Regards,
Mike

My JPEG image won't fix on a standard 8.5 X 11 page.

Under Printer and Settings, Media Size = Letter 8.5 x 11

I select the image from the left side file tree, but it shows an enlarged size.

Under "Prints" tab, neither Fit to Page nor Fit to Paper, displays correctly.

What have I done wrong?

Click the bottom "More" size in the print sizes.  It's the last option on the list of more sizes.
