Yeah AI sharpening and interpolation can do some weird unexpected things sometimes.  I too prefer a data driven approach where you enhance existing detail rather than making up new detail.

So, the detail enhancement of unsharp masking but without the halo artifacts! Looks good. In many/most cases I'm unhappy with AI efforts at sharpening and prefer this approach.

I don't know how the Z3200 handles custom paper types.  You might need to google how to reinstall them.  Enough people have had problems with custom media types disappearing that there are probably posts that address the issue.
