Above and beyond the call of duty and I thank you! I just started doing some tests and would suggest people stay with the previous version for a bit, unless it's understood we're working with a beta version. My results are pretty bad color-wise and I need to pin down that it's the program or the target. My suspicion is the new target, but it will take me a bit to prove it.

Best,
Conrad

OK, I just pushed a 9.0 beta update to the update site that can read the new targets from the UK website (the one you want to use is the R------.txt in the txt folder in their zip file, where ------ matches the number on your target):

https://www.ddisoftware.com/prism/pp-files/

If you need the password, direct message me here or send me an email.  The password is the same as it has been for a while if you've used it in the past few years.

Updated:
- Windows 11 support
- LCMS 2.17 color management engine update
- Supports new target data file formats

Regards,
Mike

What is the number on your target?  Is it the latest R202502?

Mike

Hi,

The easiest thing is to just grab the file here- https://www.greywhitebalancecolourcard.co.uk/it8.html#data
That way you'll have the various versions, .txt, .it8 and something else. BTW, I'm perfectly willing to tweak the file if there's some minor formatting or other thing it needs.

Thanks,
Conrad (apparently one of the last who still likes to mess with profiles using Prism!)

If you are using a 4K monitor, it could appear small if you are not using scaling in Windows.  The numbers in the text box are in a standard memo field, however, so you could always copy and paste: click in the text box, use Ctrl-A to select all text, Ctrl-C to copy the text, and then you can paste the text into another program like Word where you can select the font size, print, etc.  You can also export the data via the File menu.

Regards,
Mike

That looks like the Wolf Faust data file.  If you can put the data files they supply on Google Drive, I can look at them and see what they are.  Profile Prism requires a standard IT8 reference (txt) file.

Mike

Hi Mike,

Is it possible to transfer the actual numbers from the bottom (inside the box) over to a section inside the dyno chart? The numbers at the top of the screen are extremely small unless there is a way to adjust for that? I have noticed that we can barely read them when printed out.

However, weve done some comparing and your software is amazing!

Thanks

Hi,
So, I got a target from the UK company. There are a variety of data files for it, but I get a floating-point error from Prism that I've never seen before. They give a lot less data than the Wolf Faust targets. Here's a short clip from the top of what seems to be the best file. The formatting is messed up in my cut/paste but the columns are all there. Any chance I'll be able to use this?

It looks like you chose the program files folder as your application data folder which won't work on most systems.  Try reinstalling and when the application data folder option appears, choose a new folder like C:\ProgramData\ddisoftware\Qimage for example.

Mike
