I tried - didn't work for me. Even when i chose a small print size 6X4, and i'm looking the people's thighs and kness, so i want to nudge it up to their faces....it's not moving. in the version i remembered i could simply hold the mouse down on the picture and slide the image up to the faces. I can't with 2022.120.

I went back and installed 2022.120. If you just want to move the print a little bit, you can just grab it and move it. Otherwise, you can also go into the page editor (down arrow at the bottom just below the print), highlight the print and "nudge" it with the up, down, left or right arrows. You can also grab a corner and resize it.

Yes - sorry i knew i was a bit vague - it has i think a blue scissors thingy - say an image has lots of space around it for the paper size and i wanted to nudge to have a bit more space above the heads - i could do it with a previous versions. I can't seem to do that anymore with v2022 x120. There is a crop thingy now where that blue scissors was...it's not like how i remembered it....

Please clarify what you mean by nudge.  In the page editor, you can move prints around and also resize them easily.

New to forum, got new Win 11 computer and moving photo programs over.  I moved Qimage and updated and have run into a problem.  I have not used AI in Qimage before and am getting the following message:
PRINTER DRIVER AI
    Driver AI status for Epson ESC/P-R V4 Class Driver:
    This printer is not compatible with Driver AI
 
I did not have a problem with my old Win 11 computer.  When I click on media size, I get only 4 selections, user defined is not listed.  When I select printer setup, I do not get the usual Epson setup screens.  Can I turn off the AI and Qimage will reconizge the Epson printer driver?  I am puzzeled to say the least.....Thanks in advance,  Bob

With Windows 10 I've always had prints a bit darker than I'd like. The usual advice, that I've often given to people myself, is to adjust the monitor to match the prints. That leaves it too dark for other purposes. I recently got a Calibrite device and set my monitor to 100 nits, which is reasonable for my room and lighting. Prints still too dark. I've used Red River profiles and Prism profiles I make myself with the same results. Soft proofing was never close. You don't really want to know how much paper and ink I've used over the years making test prints and profiles. A few weeks ago, I upgraded my computer to something faster and with Windows 11. Shouldn't make any difference, but now my prints are perfect and soft proofing matches well. Go figure.

I bet I got my Canon PRO 100 about ten years ago, maybe more. I print sporadically, from every week to several months of no activity. I recently did a nozzle check and head alignment. Perfect as they've always been. In the entire time I've had the printer I've never run an unclog or cleaning. Am I just lucky or do people do a lot more unclogging than is really needed? Note that I only use Canon inks.

Hi Mike, I'm coming back to photography - managed to revive my Epson T50. But i have forgotten a lot of how things were....I vaguely remember how i could nudge a photo and also size it dynamically...and i can't find that feature anymore. I"m using 2022.120, not the latest. I tried it on 2022.120 but it wasn't the same - didn't work like how i remembered it.

Must be a bug where when we added violet to the list years ago, we didn't count it in that error message.  This is the first time it has come up.  Will fix it in the next release.  For now, I guess just select any other second color.
