Just curious, does anyone do digital paintings on here? Printing on canvas and fine art papers? Or are most of you photographers printing your images from your camera and Photoshop/Light Room? I've not seen any posts that would indicate otherwise.

I hope you guys are being safe and staying home.  Lots of time to experiment with your photography.

I realize I may have posted to wrong topic - tried to remove. Sorry.

Hi,
I have Corel Painter Essentials which  I play around with now and again.
This is a mono charcoal sketch  did last year for a mono print competition:

These are results of some experiments I did in ~2017

Hi Terry! Nice to meet you.  By trying to change my user name, (formerly Smiling Dog) I accidentally deleted my account.  So I have re-registered with the new user name.  I'm glad to see someone else who enjoys digital painting like myself. I mainly paint portraits - people and pets using Corel Painter. I had trouble seeking advice about sharpening a few months back, as most could not relate to the lack of detail that my images were showing - thus a painting is not expected to have the same detail as a photograph and they were adamant that I had ruined the original in Photoshop.  Clients send me their photographs for me to paint, which I print on my Epson 9880.  QU is the best money I have ever spent on this hobby/business.

Thanks for your response and sharing your fun paintings.  I'm glad there is someone else here who shares my interest.

I tried to attach the image of my last painting, but it wouldn't go - must be too large even though I reduced sizing considerably.  It printed perfectly as a gallery wrap with QU!
