Title: Problems printing Mono
Post by: keithtruman on February 12, 2025, 06:52:11 AM
Hi everyone,

I have Qimage Ultimate and print on a Canon Pixma Pro 100s. I really like Qimage but am struggling to print good Mono images in that the prints come out with a cyan colour cast. I am using OEM Canon inks and of course have the correct paper profiles being used. Does anyone else get colour casts on Mono and if you do, how have you cured them?

Keith

The first step is always to print a nozzle check to make sure some of your nozzles aren't clogged.  Assuming they are OK, the next step would be to create or obtain a better printer profile for the media you are using.  You may be using the supplied profile(s) but to get truly neutral prints, you may need to create your own.

Regards,
Mike
