I have this image of an old school that I have been trying to print that is just giving me fits.  When I print this image with some print adjustments of brightness in Lightroom 4, the print comes out dead on to what is on my calibrated monitor, the building is correct and the clouds look great.  Every print that I have done with this adjustment in Lightroom 4 comes out dead on, but I am having fits with Qimage.  If I print out the image in Qimage and make some brightness adjustments, it does not come out right.  I do not know why, but the building comes out too dark and the clouds come out correct.  If I make some adjustments to get the building lighten and correct, the clouds just blows out and they just turn pure white with no detail in them, and there are some details in the clouds.  The image in Qimage is much sharper and the colors are more vibrant, but I just have this silly little problem.  Anyone have any ideas as to how I can correct this little problem?  When I printed another image that had some pumpkins in it, there was a shine on the pumpkins and the image came out right, but the little shine on the pumpkin seemed to blow out.  Any help out there would be greatly appreciated.

Sure!  It is a RAW or a JPG?
Assuming it's a raw image we would need to have the image for 5 minutes,,,, like we did with Tony Gamble a week or so ago.

Also not knowing what size file, I cannot be sure it will email.

In either event, my email address is wathree.ssz@verizon.net

If the file is too big to email, then use WETRANSFER . It will allow 2 gigs at no charge.   https://www.wetransfer.com/
The first time you might have to fill out something, can't remember, been so long.

I have to take 3 women to lunch very shortly....
Believe me! I will be back as soon as I can...!!!
Let me put it this way. They have Handicapped parking permits for their Brooms.

So if I don't respond immediately, will be home by my 2:00 PM EST.

Fred
PS You can send to Terry too at the same time.

In case he is more available.

It is a rather large Tiff file, I do not know if I can send a file that large.

I have discovered the answer to my problem.  There are some filter parameters in Qimage that I had completely forgotten about.  I rediscovered those filters and after clicking on the filter for brightness, I printed my image and the print came out much better than what I was getting from Lightroom 4.  The images are just fantastic.  Thanks for the offer of help.

Mr Photobob
I'm new here and just read your post from last month regarding filter parameters.  Can you clarify what you did so I can wrap my head around it?  I had a similar problem.
