Hi All,

To try to ‘get around’ Canon’s 35mm border, I selected Matt paper in the Canon driver, my ICC profile was still Museum Etching, which I created myself using Syper SR Studio, (which works fine). OK at this point, very small borders, however, when I printed my photo the colours were out, the image was flat and colourless.

I thought that if I had my own ICC profile everything would be fine, so could someone please explain why I have to set my paper in my printer driver to Museum etching.

Hi Terry,

Many thanks I understand now. I have only used Canon paper and they are obviously in my drop-down paper list. (Sorry for this silly question) but what would happen if I choose a paper, which isn’t in my drop-down menu.
