Title: 360 or 720 PPI R1900? Post by: russellsnr on December 25, 2015, 08:45:54 AM Hi, After watching a tutorial on settings and it was stated that 360 PPI should be set in the 'Prints and Posters' window for Epson printers I followed along but when I change from the 720 to 320 Qimage states that 'settings may not be optimal' so should I just leave the setting at the 720 PPI option?
Thank You Russ Title: Re: 360 or 720 PPI R1900? Thank You Russ Hi Russ, Merry and Happy...... here's the deal on settings. For Prints, set the input ppi to 720. That is native to your printer and mine too. Qimage is actually setting it for you based on the printer driver's information. Your printer driver is saying 720 ppi please. How do we know this? Look above the preview panel upper right area and it says: printable area of your selected paper size, and then 720 x 720 If you change it manually, Qimage just reminds you that you are not using the best you can get. The poster mode is usually set for 360 ppi because you will not be viewing na poster from 6 inches away like you would a print, and the file size will be very large for no beneficial reason. Hope that clears it up a bit. Fred Title: Re: 360 or 720 PPI R1900? Post by: russellsnr on December 25, 2015, 10:49:48 AM Hi, and Merry Chriatmas to you also.
