Title: Can an Epson Pro 3880 provide 16bit output? Post by: greyscale on January 09, 2010, 07:54:06 PM Am trying to find information regarding printing 16 bit output from an Epson Pro 3880 using LR and CS4 using Windows 7. Im aware that the printer can provide 16 bit on an Apple system such as SL. The Epson driver for Apple provides a checkbox for 16 bit output. However, there is no such box in the Windows Vista 64 driver. Is it possible such a box shows up in Windows 7? If the printer can do 16 bit on an Apple, seems to me, it should be able to do likewise in Windows 7???. ???
I have read Mike Chaneys rant re: Windoz 7, and wonder If he uses a 16 bit capable printer in Windows 7? That is if Mike has gotten 7 to print for him??.
