Title: Canon 6300 printer recommendation
Post by: Jim S on August 28, 2011, 12:23:44 AM
I'm a longtime Qimage user looking to move up to a 24" printer. Have always owned Epson and currently have an Epson 3800. I'm considering the Canon IPF6300 over Epson 7890 due to space constraints. I've read a number of great reviews, but am a bit intimidated by the thought of changing brands. Wondering if any other users have made the switch from an Epson to the Canon 6300 and can offer any insights or recommendations. Thanks.
Jim

I moved from an Epson 2200 to the 6300 and absolutely love it. It is a great printer and with Qimage I can do about anything with it. I have printed some award winning canvas' that are 16 x 40. It prints single sheets nicely (but you can't stack them). Yesterday, using Qimage, I printed 80 wallets mixed with a few 5 x7's for my daughter. It was a snap. The whole thing took about 15 minutes (from selection to print).

I highly recommend the 6300. Colors are great. I have gotten awards for several B&W's. Go for it and print alot. You'll really enjoy the printer, especially with Qimage.
