I have an Epson R1800. I have a gripe regarding the usability of the Maintenance section of the driver.

1) I think the buttons should be in a more logical order from top to bottom. Why start with "Nozzle Check and Cleaning", then go to "Nozzle Check" then go to "Head Cleaning".  I think the first one should be "Nozzle Check", then "Cleaning"then "Nozzle Check and Cleaning".

2) In "Nozzle Check and Cleaning", the button on the right is "Start" and "Cancel" is on the left. But in the Nozzle Check", the "Print" button is on the Left, and "Finish" is on the right. So not only are they REVERSED, but they're labeled differently in the different sections. (Not to mention that Print Head Alignment uses "Ok" and "Cancel"

I'm just looking for some better logic and consistency here.

I've clicked the wrong button in the past because that problem.
You could ask them to change it like we do with Mike  Grin

LOL. Good luck with that!!

Actually, that's not the part that frustrates me.  The fact that you click on Nozzle Check then have to click on Print--isn't that obvious?  They go through that "double choosing" all over the place.  After a head cleaning isn't obvious you want to do a nozzle check again to make sure it worked?  Why not just do so?

Heck even MS figured out that when you open a drop-down menu and click "Close" you really mean it.  Less code also.

Okay, thanks for the confirmation that it wasn't just me.

I guess that never bothered me cuz I never need to clean the nozzles... Good ink, and I print often.
