I don't want to have to download and install it and work through the trial if it doesn't naturally work with this printer. I don't know enough to be able to do any tweaking that might be involved.

Chances are the driver differences would be revolving around a possible difference in paper choices and what can be used in your area. The driver might handle those paper choices more on point.
That having been said, rule of thumb!!! If Windows will print from your driver, then so will Qimage.
Go for it. You will buy it withing 48 hours after trying it!!
