Having recently acquired an Epson R1900, I have to say I'm not happy at all with Epson's ICC profiles for their (Ultra) Premium Photo Paper Glossy.  I'm used to Epson's profiles (from their site) working pretty well but their Ultra Premium Photo Paper Glossy profiles for the R1900 produce prints that are too dark and skin tones that appear too blue using the v6.61 Windows 7 drivers.  I've created my own ICC profile for Ultra Premium Photo Paper Glossy using Qimage and Profile Prism.  For R1900 owners who are interested, you can get the profile free here:

http://www.ddisoftware.com/profiles/R1900-UPPPG-BP.zip

Feedback here is welcome!

Regards,
Mike

Although I have not tried the other profile yet, this particular one does produce almost perfect output on my R1900 and Ultra as well as Premium. Hell it even works with Staples Premium Gloss.
The equivalent canned R1900 profile produces a a nice contrasty print that most folks out there would prefer but WE know better.

Your profile opened up the shadows and my highlights had more subtle detail. Color was almost spot on to what I saw on my calbrated monitor ( Colormunki ) I made a specific Profile myslef for Staples Premuim Gloss, Matte.

My glossy profile for the Staples brand almost matches yours. On Epson Ultra Premium Gloss, yours is a dream!!!!!

Will be testing the other profile soon.

Scroll down until you find a category that gets close to the topic of your question.
Then, look for a button, upper right that says new topic.
Go from there.
