Epson SC P600 clog/no color

Greetings.
I have been trying to get a good nozzle check over the past few days doing a cleaning cycle, nozzle checks and QU unclog pattern print.
I have had to do this over the years and always managed to get a clean nozzle check.
I did not do repeated cleaning cycles, and I would turn it off and try again later in the day and next day. This has usually worked for me.
Today I got a better nozzle check thought not perfect but there was no color, all black or gray scale. I checked to make sure color was set in print properties. I still don't have all nozzles clear but better than when I started.
Could this be that the clogs are at the color cartridge end and just the blacks are working now?
I only have 1 photo black replacement cart which is close to replacement and no others at this time to try and would not want to invest in
more untill I think it's worth it.
Would appreciate some insight from those who have been through this.
Thanks

If all the colors are missing, there could be a problem with the head. Clogs don't usually affect all colors at once. I would ask on Jose Rodriguez's group on Facebook as they are better with the hardware end of things:

Thank you Mike,
I don't use social media, I'll keep looking for a solution or repair.

For what it's worth, I have had something like this in the past where the monitor shows ink still in the cartridge but the nozzle check for one or more colors is either blank or just scattered lines. And replacing the cartridge does fix the problem. This is with Epson stylus 3000. Having said that, I have never lost all color completely as you describe. I now try to run the unclog twice a week, and haven't had issues since.

Thanks for the reply.
The bottom line: it's printing again. You got me thinking about when I had a 1200 with the ink bottles on the side with the tubes that fed
the carts. (yeah I'M an old timer) The color dye inks would glob up just sitting in the bottle. It seems that has happened in this case.
I realized that the carts in the 600 were past shelf life. Even though the cyan and vivid magenta showed more than the others, they were
not printing anything on the nozzle check. After several cleanings I was getting other colors to print on the nozzle check and the QU unclog
pattern but not the other two.
New color carts arrived and I replaced the cyan and vivid magenta and did a couple of cleanings and things started to look up. Several QU
unclog runs and nozzle checks and cleaning have things almost perfect. The other color carts are close to replacement now after all the cleanings and will be replaced soon.
For what it's worth is sometimes worth a lot.
Thank you
