Title: Epson Stylus pro 7890 Cutter problem
Post by: Jules on March 26, 2013, 08:33:29 PM
Hi. I have just got an Epson Stylus pro 7890. I have only had it a week but am trying to train it to do what I want with some success. The prints I have had out of it so far, all b&w as that is what we mainly produce are very nice. However i have encountered one strange problem that did not occur when the guys came to my studio to set it up. That is, when using the 24" roll paper and setting the printer to cut the paper after the print is done, OR when cutting manually by pressing the Cut button, the cutter starts but stops a bit further than half way across the paper, about 15" from the rigth, and leaves the paper half hanging down! This is not good, and quite likely not a Qimage problem. But I thought I might post here to see if anyone else had encountered such a problem, and how they fixed it. See

Time for a warranty claim I would think.

Yes I will do that Thanks. Just thought I'd ask if anyone else had experienced the same!
