Title: Prints from Nikon 8800 & Canon SX10 IS.
Post by: Bruce Sr on June 23, 2009, 06:29:08 PM
I have Qstudio latest version. I recently bought a Canon SX10 IS and my first photos that I printed with Q seemed washed out compared to the prints from my CP8800. Anyone know if Canon camera data differs from Nikon data and needs different settings? Need all the help I can get without cluttering Mike C's Forum. Thanks Mike, for all you do for us. BC

Tell us more about the setup.  Are you shooting raw or JPEG?  Have you changed paper or ink?

Thanks Mike. The SX10 does not have raw capability, so they are jpeg's. In looking through several Canon forums I probably had the in-camera settings wrong. Several users say they lower the EV setting in the camera and others say they have to boost saturation during post processing. I think I had better do more homework and some more test shooting before pursuing this further. Cheers...BC
